CHILLI PEPPERS

 

120101 – Marinated Chipotle: (Can 6/3 k.)

Dry, smoked, red Jalapeño pepper. It is dark red, wrinkled, aromatic and spicy. For sauces, marinades and (whole) for soups and stews. Dried and not smoked it is called MECO.
 

 

 

120102 – Nacho Jalapeño Pepper (Slice): (Can 6/3 k.)  

This chilli pepper measures 4 to 6 cms, it is fleshy and has a rounded tip. For pickling and fillings.
There are smaller, hotter varieties (2 to 3 cm).
Presented in slices or nacho to make better use of it and for different decorations.

 

 

120103 – Whole Poblano Peppers: (Can 12/880 gr.)

This chilli pepper is large and green, more or less; the most popular pepper for filling or cut into segments or ground for soups.
It is roasted and peeled before use. Essential for preparing the famous “Chiles En Nogada” (Chilli peppers in walnut sauce).



 

120114 – Whole Jalapeño Peppers: (Can 6/3 k.)

This chilli pepper measures 4 to 6 cms, it is fleshy and has a rounded tip. For pickling and filling. Small Jalapeño pepper:

Small and pointed, eaten on their own, in raw or cooked sauces, pickled and in stews.

120001 - Annatto (50/100 gr)

Paste whose main ingredient is the fruit from the annatto tree.
Used as marinade to roast meat, poultry and fish, giving these dishes a very special flavour.

 

 

120004 – Barbecue Sauce (4/4 kg)

American style Barbecue variation, slightly smoked, must be eaten lukewarm, suitable for any meat dish we wish to consider as barbecued. It can be used to marinade meat before roasting or baking it (chopped steak brochettes, roast barbecued beef, hamburgers).
 

 

120006 - Pico Gallo Sauce (6/3 kg)

Typical Texan sauce, rich in tomato, seasoning and flavours, the most outstanding being coriander. It is concentrated and presented like a home-made sauce. Use at room temperature (Chimichanga, Fajitas, Sincronizadas).
